We are searching for a detail-orientated, deadline-driven service engineer to join our growing company. The service engineer\'s responsibilities include repairing faults, servicing equipment, creating preventative maintenance strategies, and updating user manuals. Our client focusses in providing advanced, high-precision, high-throughput robots, vacuum automation systems, contamination control systems, and reticle storage solutions to OEMs and global semiconductor chip manufacturers.


  • Perform complex customer support activities involving the installation, modification, repair and preventive maintenance of Brooks equipment and systems to ensure proper working order.
  • Isolates and resolves complex equipment malfunctions and implements corrective action.
  • Works under minimal supervision following established policies and procedures to ensure company and customer quality standards are met.
  • May act as Local/Shift/Site CSE to coordinate work direction for other Service Engineers and install support as needed.
  • Position will be in Singapore region. Candidate may be assigned to support a specific customer site or Product, depending upon business needs.
  • Required to work in a Clean Room environment wearing a full clean room suit according to customer requirements.
Job Requirements
  • Requires systematic troubleshooting skills utilizing a structured and comprehensive process to determine the root cause of an outage, with the ability to handle problems independently and implement corrective action.
  • Must be available and willing to travel, domestically as needed and be available for specific emergency on-call work.
  • Must be proficient with use of a PC, Windows based Operating Systems. Be able to use the company\'s standard software to generate reports, presentations and document the daily activities as defined and expected by your manager.
Work Assignments
  • Work performed will generally be committed to supporting a specific site, region and/or product(s) depending upon business needs.
  • Work schedule is to align with customer needs. Scheduling environment will be flexible to include Compressed Work Weeks (CWW), Night Shifts, and Weekends in an individual or team basis. On-call availability is required.
