The opportunity

An opportunity with the EY wavespace ASEAN team is available as a CX Designer. Here at wavespace, we design immersive programs and workshops that bring people of diverse skills and expertise together, giving them the mindset and collaborative tools to think differently. These wavespace experiences are done either in-person at our state-of-the-art facility, virtually or a blend of both, for our clients all around the world.
Your key responsibilities

  • As part of the Experience team, you will be defining the strategy and desired outcomes for wavespace experiences.
  • You will be creating content for wavespace experiences, in both physical and digital formats, including but not limited to personas, wireframes, journey maps and blueprints, rapid prototypes, UX/UI specifications, pattern libraries and interaction models.
  • You will be critical in delivering wavespace experiences through leveraging technology for both in-person, hybrid, and virtual sessions.
  • You will need to manage different stakeholders across EY service lines and their clients.
  • You need to be able to communicate complex technical concepts simply and effectively to all audiences using sketches, storytelling, mood boards/storyboards, wireframes, user flows, interactive prototypes, and/or data visualizations.
  • You will contribute to the continued development of EY wavespace, through supporting areas such as methodology development, marketing and building the pipeline.

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • A minimum of 2 – 3 years’ experience in CX Design or Service Design related fields.
  • Have a good understanding of (and preferably experience in) design thinking and working on agile teams.
  • Experience using (and a passion for) interactive technology and collaboration tools, such as Mural, Miro, Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
  • Be experienced in designing workshop activities, plus facilitating discussions and breakout sessions.

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Experience using Adobe Creative Suite, Axure, Figma, InVision, Keynote, OmniGraffle, Sketch and/or other design technologies.
  • Experience in design research methods and know how/when to apply them effectively.
  • Experience with photography and video production.
  • Ability to live-scribe and/or sketch note.
  • Possess a secondary design skill, such as graphic, spatial, and/or UX design.
  • Experience working in an innovation lab or incubator.
