Position : Customer Service Executive (Freight/Incoterms/Shipping)
Location : Bukit Merah (Few bus stops from Tiong Bahru MRT)
Working hours : 5 days (Monday-Friday office hours), alternate saturday when required only
Salary (commensurate with experience): Up to $4200 + AWS +Bonus + Mobile + 14 days Annual leave

Main responsibilities:
Responsible for facilitating and managing activities involving sea export, sea import, warehousing & trucking.
Create bookings in Company\'s proprietary freight forwarding system and job files
Handle full set of import and export shipments and shipping documents such as Bill of Lading,
Delivery Order, Permit Declaration, Notice of Arrival etc
Monitoring pre-alert documents from Origin offices or sales support (sea import only)
Track and monitor vessel arrivals / departures and update customers if any deviations.
Handle all customers & enquiries timely and effectively.
Sourcing for rates from service providers as per the sale/customer\'s enquiry.
Coordinate with business partners on Sales lead from the origin or the destination.
Provide comprehensive service to all aspects of customer & requirement/problem solutions to handle their shipments.
Preparing of invoices for customers\' checking about subcontractor\'s invoices preparing of reports for internal & external customer.
Ensure compliance with customer & Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
Preparing SOP for our internal use.
Interface with multiple parties including customer, warehouse, carriers, depot, trucking, insurance, customs clearance etc based on shipment requirements
All other ad-hoc work instructions from Managing Director or Manager
Requirement:
Familiar with incoterms, custom requirements, import and export procedures.
Minimum 2 - 5 years working experience in Freight Forwarding.
Diploma in Freight Forwarding / Logistics is preferred.
Bilingual in English and Mandarin to liaise with Mandarin speaking associates in view of business communications
