Industry : European MNC Industrial Electrical Equipment SupplyLocation: West Region SingaporeWork Week: 5 DaysStrategic Planning and Execution:

• Establish and manage clear department goals and objectives, including defining and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sales, quotation and order throughput times, customer satisfaction, and hit rate.
• Continuously improve processes, procedures, and work instructions to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
• Ensure compliance with internal control systems and proactively identify and address procedural and policy gaps.
• Foster a 24/7 customer service mindset within the team.
• Measure and improve individual inside sales performance, focusing on responsiveness, accuracy, sales, and efficiency.
• Coordinate and manage interactions with cross-functional teams (IT, Accounting, Engineering, Product Management, Business Development, etc.) and other group companies.
• Manage the implementation and refinement of pricing policies.
• Oversee the business generation process for the SEA, Australian, and Japanese markets, including quotations, follow-up, technical support, and sales lead generation.
• Develop comprehensive quotation proposals that highlight technical advantages and customer benefits.
• Collaborate closely with the External Sales team to ensure clear communication and alignment on customer requirements and goals.
• Cultivate an "opportunity ownership mentality" within the team.
• Initiate and manage proactive selling activities to target low-sales customers, new customers, and promote new or key products.
• Manage price negotiations in accordance with applicable rules and regulations.
• Maintain a customer complaint log and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Gather customer feedback through surveys, meetings, and teleconferences.
• Identify and implement business improvement ideas and lean management principles.

Order Management and Customer Service:

• Monitor and deliver on order deadlines.
• Manage and charge for change orders.
• Ensure the timely resolution of errors, mistakes, and customer requests.
• Handle and coordinate Return Material Authorizations (RMAs).

Team Development and Coaching:

• Coach and train team members on efficient processes, policies, and technical skills (product knowledge, applications, customer value).
• Develop selling skills, including sales basics, cross-selling, and upselling techniques.
• Foster a customer-centric approach that builds strong and lasting relationships.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic or Instrumentation Engineering, Technology, Engineering, or Business Administration.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience with a proven track record in customer service.
