Adecco is partnering with one of the Fortune 500 Global MNCs in the freight forwarding industry. Currently, they are looking for talent to join as a Customer Service Manager to join their business. Reporting to the Department Director the successful incumbent will lead and guide a team toward ensuring customer satisfaction for key accounts.The Job:
Point of contact for customer inquiries and ensuring expertise in all service features.
Analyze customer inquiries, gather data, and generate proposals/quotes. Improve unsuccessful quotes through action plans for better success rates.
Facilitate and manage the preparation of shipment documents for customers, including providing information, dispatching documents, and handling pickup and delivery notifications as needed. Resolve both external and internal customer complaints.
Develop robust operational customer relationships and gain insight into their organization, including structure, processes, and needs.
Ensure proper handling of the Group\'s multimodal, trans-shipments, cross-trade, HL, barge, project, OOG ocean freight, and dangerous goods shipments, coordinating with the BU for general air and ocean freight.
Oversee operational tasks including goods collection, cargo reception, and processing.
Oversee and supervise subcontractors, ensuring contractual obligations are met, establishing KPIs, verifying compliance with our service level agreement, and reviewing invoices, among other responsibilities
Provide guidance and support to the team for specific key accounts, ensuring ongoing improvement while monitoring customer-agreed KPIs.
The Talent:
Minimum of 3-5 years in Oil & Gas, Sea & Air freight operation Logistics /Transportation, or equivalent.
Minimum of three years of experience in leadership roles, ideally within customer service or operations.
Project and time management/time allocation and organizational skills.
Drive for high performance and prioritize customer satisfaction.
