Job Description
- Processing whole transaction operation from contract issuing to complete delivery, payment and collection.
- Logistics of basic chemical products mainly in Asia.
- Prepare, monitor, and verify shipping documents from suppliers and send shipping instructions of materials for shipment.
- Arrange payment to suppliers on time and monitor receivable payment from customers. Check credit limit balance in term of percentage. Escalate potential issues in the department in a timely manner.
- Handle internal system (SAP, NFS etc) and record all the transaction data.
- Timely input monthly closing entries into internal accounting system and providing shipping documents to accounting.
- Diploma / Degree in Logistics / Supply Chain or related fields.
- Minimum of 1 - 2 years of relevant working experience within the Trading industry.
- Prior experience in handling bulk shipment in chemical products will be advantageous.
- Possess knowledge of incoterms (FOB, CFR, CIF, DAP, ITT etc.)
- Experience in knowledge in Letter of Credit, Uniform Customs and Practice for Documentary Credits (UCP 600), and Uniform Rule for Collections (URC 522) will be advantageous.
- Possess a meticulous and detailed-oriented mindset and able to work independently as well as in a team setting.
