Main Roles and Responsibilities 1. Support the Academy on security related resources such as switches, firewalls, Intrusion Protection/Detection Systems (IPS/IDS), Network Access Control list, CloudF Main Roles and Responsibilities 1. Support the Academy on security related resources such as switches, firewalls, Intrusion Protection/Detection Systems (IPS/IDS), Network Access Control list, CloudFlare, DarkTrace, endpoint security, Wifi security, etc 2. Support the Academy on firewall rules, settings and security configurations e.g. add, delete or modify firewall rules, perform troubleshooting to resolve network issues. Perform routine backup and review of firewall rules 3. Perform daily checks of the logs, network links or use of automated tools/solutions to ensure no abnormal activity tracked. Review network audit trails and security violation attempts on the network 4. Support the Academy on security vulnerabilities and hacking threats in network and host systems. Provide a monthly status report on information security status 5. Manage cybersecurity related incidents. Review network audit trails and security violation attempts on the network. Document all cybersecurity incidence and coordinate remedial actions. Escalate issues to the Incidence Response Team for follow-ups upon detection of security vulnerabilities 6. Coordinate all remedial actions as indicated in the VAPT reports. Coordinate 2nd and 3rd level troubleshooting for root cause analysis 7. Analyse network utilisation patterns, trends and problems, recommend and implement corrective and preventive measures. Other network maintenance and configuration to ensure infrastructure is up to date 8. Document SOP, technical documentation and maintain configurations of all network and cybersecurity hardware, software used in the environment 9. Handle any other projects or assignments as required Requirements 1. Diploma or Degree in Cybersecurity or related area 2. Preferably 1-2 years' relevant experience in the cybersecurity. Fresh graduate in cybersecurity with good technical skills can be considered 3. Good analytical and problem-solving skills 4. Ability to work independently and under pressure. Display strong work ethic 5. Good communication and interpersonal skills and are a team player 6. Essential knowledge and hands-on experience in the firewall and network administration, and perimeter network security. Formal professional training is an added advantage
