To realise this vision, MOHT's mission is to design and implement innovative solutions essential for the desired health system transformation.The Integrated General Hospital (IGH) programme aims to describe and address key challenges in care fragmentation, particularly for patients with multiple health and/or social issues. Over the past years, IGH has harvested insights on challenges associated with the lack of singular patient ownership,contributed by many providers especially in the community. There are challenges associated with an imbalance of resources, resulting in part from entrenched views that are more hospital-centric and/or organ-centric. There are also challenges around suboptimal transitions of care and poor integration of health and social care. The Care Solutions team within IGH supports a multi-site,evaluation-focused, consensus-driven approach for hospital and transitional care redesign.The successful candidate will be expected to support priorities and conversations the Care Solutions team engages and manage discrete tasks on a diverse portfolio of data analytics projects. Areas of work include quantitative evaluation of care redesign pilots at various acute and community settings including interventions like home hospitalisation, integrated care,community-based care, chronic disease management, and transitional care. Ideally, the candidate will have experience handling big data using statistical packages and tools. Experience in healthcare sector will be an advantage.Duties may include but are not limited to: 1) Data analysis and modeling (~70%)- Conducting quantitative analyses under the supervision of senior researchers, examples may include . Comparative analyses, e.g. clinical safety/effectiveness parameters . Decision analysis, e.g. cost effectiveness/utility analysis, Incremental cost-effectiveness ratio (ICER) . Time-to-event analyses, e.g. Cox Proportional-Hazards Model . Simulations/predictive models/regression models, e.g. Health economic models, interventions' impact to hospital bed supply/demand.- Data cleaning and management of databases- Contributing to the writing and development of scientific papers and the dissemination of the study findings2) Research/project protocol development (~20%)- Participating in meetings and discussions for clinical research projects and programme evaluations.- Drafting and submitting ethics review applications, where applicable.3) Evidence dissemination (~10%)- Scientific writing, preparing and drafting of manuscripts/reports- Preparing and drafting presentation slide decks- Presenting findings to internal and external stakeholders, and where appropriate, lead scientific/analytic discussionsJob Requirements: Preferred at least 2 years of work experience, ideally healthcare-related. Hold at least a bachelor's degree in any branch of science, public health, economics, or statistics. Advanced degree in relevant fields e.g. data science, health economics, public health will be an advantage. Able to carry out presentations and stakeholder engagements with healthcare practitioners including senior clinicians in both public and private sectors. Independent learner, substantial on-the-job training/learning expected. Have experience of using statistical packages, e.g., Stata (preferred), SPSS, R, SAS. Have experience with data management, e.g. SQL, Python Be fluent in written and spoken English. Have the ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team. Be organised and able to prioritise workload. Have prior experience of working with electronic medical records is desirable. Evidence of publication is desirable.
