Since opening its doors in 2008, Ubisoft Singapore has become the biggest AAA game development studio in Southeast Asia. The 500-strong studio is home to 35+ different nationalities focused on delivering ambitious gaming experiences to our players. Ubisoft Singapore has been contributing to all the Assassin\'s Creed\xc2\xae titles since Assassin\'s Creed\xc2\xae II. It innovated within the franchise as the studio behind the naval battle gameplay and water technology in Assassin\'s Creed\xc2\xae III, Assassin\'s Creed\xc2\xae IV Black Flag\xc2\xae and most recently in Assassin\'s Creed\xc2\xae Valhalla. Its expertise in AAA and live operations, combined with a passion for naval gameplay, pushed the team to lead the development of Skull and Bones\xe2\x84\xa2 revealed at E3 in 2017.



As a Data Analyst, you will serve as an advisor and help various stakeholders understand hidden trends, identify opportunities, and help them make strategic business decisions with regards to our games. We need you to become an expert in gathering and interpreting data to solve complex problems, that also entails communicating your findings.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

In three months:

  • You will be familiar with the services, tools, and processes used to collect in-game data.
  • You will have a very good understanding of business metrics for AAA games.
  • You will be familiar with ETL processes used to derive in-game metrics.
  • You will be able to explain to other team members our data pipelines
In six months:
  • You will have built a solid relationship with key stakeholders and worked closely with designers implementing data tracking in the game.
  • You will have implemented new tracking events and their ETL pipelines
  • You will have created added value by implementing metrics and analyzing data
  • You will have contributed to the reporting platform of the game with insights and new modules.
In twelve months:
  • You will have produced and reported analysis, as well as derived insights, both contributing to the enhancement of in game features.
  • You will have acquired all the necessary skills to support the data tracking and analysis of a live game
After this period, you will be able to:
  • Design and implement data tracking in the game.
  • Derive insights and prepare reports to support designers\' decisions.
  • Collaborate with the player knowledge team in understanding player behavior and motivations.
  • Have an effective work relationship with game designers and producers.
  • Have a strong understanding of Ubisoft data ecosystems.
  • Become one of the ambassadors of the studio data culture program.
Qualifications

Essential:
  • Experience in marketing analytics and business analytics.
  • A strong background in a technical area: Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Business Analytics, and Economics.
  • Interest in data technologies and statistics in general.
  • Keen on manipulating complex data, extracting insights, and presenting results to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Culturally flexible and enjoy working and communicating with teams from across different countries
Desired:
  • Hands-on experience in analysing a wide variety of digital data (web, social, etc.)
  • Interest in data science
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

Essential:
  • Good understanding of Data Warehouses.
  • Proficient in writing elaborated SQL queries.
  • Good understanding of visualization and reporting tools.
  • Experience in Statistical Modelling.
  • Basic knowledge of python
Desired:
  • Work experience with Hadoop ecosystem.
  • Previous projects with Tableau.
  • Software engineering skills
  • Advanced knowledge of Python.
  • Contributed to data science projects
