We are growing and we\'re looking for talents to come onboard our Technology team as a Senior Data Analyst.

Mission

MoneySmart is a dynamic and rapidly growing organization. We\'re actively building our data infrastructure and BI capabilities. As part of this, you\'ll be involved in building and maintaining core capabilities like reporting & analytics, data infrastructure, and various other data services that are integral parts of MoneySmart\'s overall technical stack. In a Nutshell

  • Work with product, marketing and executive teams to define reporting requirements across different channels.
  • Develop and process routine reports by extracting data from key systems.
  • Provide key analytical insights to the wider product and business teams.
  • Developing systems and tools for effective data management, visualization, and interpretation for leadership for decision-making, action planning, and continuous improvement.
  • Maintain the central reporting repository, ensuring the regular delivery and publishing of business, marketing reports and dashboards.
  • Generation of product usage reports and provide proper insight for creation of product roadmap
  • Monitor and share anomalies in the dataset(s) with an appropriate stakeholder(s) to improve data consistency and reliability

Requirements

  • 5+ years Working experience as data analyst or data scientist
  • Degree in Computer Science, Math, Statistics or any of their equivalents.
  • Ability to develop working relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders, from business to technical resources, balancing competing priorities.
  • Experience of distilling data into insight and being able to present it to non-technical Colleagues using appropriate visualization and charting techniques.
  • Experience of applying data analytics to solve business problems preferably with specific experience with marketing metrics and data.
  • Ability to be self-sufficient, enquiring, inquisitive to drill deeply into data to answer questions and discover relevant user segments and dimensions.
  • Ability to train non technical users to leverage BI tools for simple use cases.
  • Experience creating and using advanced machine learning algorithms and statistics: regression, simulation, scenario analysis, modeling, clustering, decision trees, neural networks, etc
  • Experience querying databases and using statistical computer languages: R, Python, SLQ, etc.

Responsibilities

  • Liaison with product and marketing teams to understand various business problem statements analytical requirements
  • Participate in cross-functional groups to develop company wide data governance strategies
  • Redefine and make technical/strategic changes to enhance existing Business Intelligence systems
  • Create relationships between data and develop tabular and other multidimensional data models
  • Design, develop, test, and deploy Power BI scripts and perform detailed analytics and visualization
  • Develop Predictive analytics solutions on the different types of financial information
  • Line management should be responsible for carrying junior data analysts accountable for their performance and giving them opportunities to further their professions.
  • Improve the ability of all departments to use the data we have by training them to use BI tools.
