Job Purpose and Impact

The Data Analytics Consultant will lead innovation, collaboration, education, curation, and adoption initiatives that empower Cargill\'s people to unlock business value through trusted data and skilled analytics. In this role, you will take a hands-on approach to integrating central expertise with real business needs to advance data consumption maturity, support knowledge management and design, and implement plans to increase data and analytics acumen.

Key Accountabilities

• Provide analytics and information architecture consulting for evaluations, education and capacity building activities across a global enterprise.
• Coach users to assess and analyze data using strategic tools and best practices, and provide training and support focused on metrics definitions, data resources, data access approaches, value cases and potential stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvement within Cargill\xc3\xa2\xc2\x80\xc2\x99s strategic analytics and data catalog platforms, address information quality root causes, and empower business teams to self-serve in ways that serve the business and Cargill
• Promote analytics usage and skills among management and employees and encourage visibility and reusability of data.
• Mentor and coach analysts to advance the business\xc3\xa2\xc2\x80\xc2\x99 analytics capabilities.
• Independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff.
• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor\xc3\xa2\xc2\x80\xc2\x99s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
• Proven experience framing and solving business problems through the application of data, process and technology
• Minimum of four years of relevant work experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a globally-distributed, matrixed organization
• Diverse professional experiences across multiple lines of business and industries
• Demonstrated success influencing change through data-driven storytelling
• Experience developing scalable self-service analytics patterns and communities of practice
• Certifications in programing languages and/or business intelligence tools
• Experience creating solutions on cross-functional teams of engineers, architects, and business process leaders
