Good knowledge of data centre facility operations tasks and duties
Monitor and maintain critical data centre infrastructure, including power distribution systems (UPS, generators), HVAC systems, fire suppression systems and structured cabling systems.
Manage DC/Building landlord ensuring preventive maintenance on data centre infrastructure and systems are performed promptly.
Respond to alarms, troubleshoot issues, and ensure prompt resolution.
Support off-office hours activities, including responding to emergency alarms, performing on-call duties, and coordinating with vendors for emergency repairs.
Requirement
At least 5 years of experience in data centre facility management.
Experience working in a high-pressured environment with 24x7 on-call responsibilities
Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical and fire suppression systems in data centres.
Good understanding of incident, problem and change management procedures based on ITIL best practices
Must have prior experience working in data centre operations in financial institutions
