Position Details:

Company : U3 Infotech (Payroll)

Role : Data centre Facility Engineer

Position : Contract

Duration : 12+ Months (Extendable OR Renewable)

Location : Singapore

1. Monitor and maintain critical data centre infrastructure, including power distribution systems (UPS, generators), HVAC systems, fire suppression systems, and access control systems.
2. Perform preventive maintenance on data centre equipment and systems.
3. Respond to alarms, troubleshoot issues, and ensure prompt resolution.
4. Liaise with the building landlord to coordinate maintenance schedules, address building infrastructure issues, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
5. Support off-office hours activities, including responding to emergency alarms, performing on-call duties, and coordinating with vendors for emergency repairs.
6. Ensure strict adherence to data centre physical security procedures.
7. Follow documented incident response procedures, track incidents to closure, and communicate with stakeholders.
8. Generate reports to management, including monthly performance reports, incident summaries, root cause analyses, and status reports on ongoing projects.

Qualifications:

1. Experience in data centre facility management.
2. Experience working in a 24x7 mission-critical environment.
3. Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems in data centres.
4. Experience with fire suppression systems and access control systems.
5. Proficiency in troubleshooting and problem-solving.
