• Lead Safety by Design processes within clients organisation
• As required, identify process improvement opportunities and develop solutions
• Understand clients legal and contractual obligations to design and provide specialist advice on compliance
• Review projects and designs on both a planned and ad hoc basis and provide relevant advice
• Meet regularly with client stakeholders and provide reports and updates as required
• Critically appraise Design Risk Assessments and organise/facilitate review sessions accordingly
• Compile and develop training and guidance for project teams
• Develop and deliver training to internal and external stakeholders
• Ensure Safety by Design outcomes across the project lifecycle through the diligent application of Safety by Design practices

\xe2\x80\x8bRequirements

• Degree in architecture, construction or engineering
• Demonstrated ability to deliver safety by design outcomes
• NEBOSH Construction Certificate or equivalent H&S qualification
• Microsoft office literacy
• Experience in consultancy (CDM or H&S) desirable
• Proficiency in design tools and software
• Experience working for a \xe2\x80\x9cPrincipal Designer\xe2\x80\x9d under CDM Regulations desirable
