We are seeking an energetic and forward-thinking professional to join our Information Technology (IT) group in our IT Risk Management and Security (ITRMS) organization. As part of the global Cybersecurity Engineering (CE) Security Analytics team, this position is responsible for analyzing, defining, and implementing data pipelines using modern DevOps methodologies in a world-class data platform environment. By utilizing modern tools, she or he will create new or consolidate existing data assets to enable data-driven decision processes across the ITRMS division to support Cyber Fusion Center (CFC) and Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) teams. This role will also be responsible for building analytical tools and metrics to utilize the data pipeline, providing actionable insights into value realization, operational efficiency, and other key business performance metrics.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Primary Responsibilities
Develop data transformation rules and data modeling capabilities.
Participates in the design, development, and implementation of complex data pipelines to extract data from a variety of sources and populate data lake and data warehouse.
Assist with review of stakeholder process workflows to determine the readiness of data sources and integration points.
Assess current processes, recommend, and implement approaches to efficiently handle increasing volumes of data.
Assist with developing a metric-based dashboard using widgets and data available to build dashboards for operations, security, and management teams.
Build and maintain dashboards for analytical decision-making, ensuring consistency, reliability, and quality across all teams.
Document and communicate technical specifications to ensure that proper and optimized techniques, queries, data standards, and final outputs are understood and incorporated into data and analytical processes.
Able to demonstrate leadership quality in working and communicating with functional and cross-functional teams in different geographical regions to achieve shared objectives
Able to understand the business needs and commitment to delivering high-quality, prompt, and efficient products and services to the stakeholders.
Able to demonstrate a team-focused mentality with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Able to articulate complex and technical issues to diverse audiences orally and in writing.
Education Minimum Requirement:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or equivalent is required.
Required Experience and Skills:
At least three (3) years of experience in ETL, Data Engineering, or BI fields or experience in risk management and IT security and/or regulated or compliance environment.
Experience in using data warehouse like AWS Redshift, Vertica, BigQuery, or SnowFlake.
Experience with reporting or visualization tools such as Power BI, Spotfire, or Tableau.
Experience in a data-focused role analyzing complex data sets and building high-quality scalable data integration or ETL pipelines.
Experience in building new pipelines and integrations using cloud platforms like Amazon Web Services (AWS).
Strong verbal & written communication skills and demonstrated ability to collaborate across teams and organizations.
Knowledge of Python, Scala, Spark, Anthena, DataBrick, or AWS QuickSight.
Knowledge of Splunk architecture and best practices.
Knowledge of modern data architecture for analytics, data integration best practices, and common patterns.
Knowledge on structured and unstructured data design, data modeling, data access, and data storage techniques.
Excellent analytical skills showcasing the ability to interpret data and a deep sense of curiosity.
Interest in developing and activating the digital and data-first strategy to enhance the customer experience.
