About the Department
The Compliance function is a strategic partner and a trusted business enabler to the Board and senior management. It is our responsibility to ensure that the Group continuously fulfils its regulatory obligations in today's tight and dynamic regulatory landscape. To do that, we work closely with internal stakeholders to identify and to assess regulatory risks. This collaboration also includes developing practical solutions that integrate regulations into operational requirements as well as actively shaping and promoting stronger compliance culture and literacy in the Bank.

Job Responsibilities
Project Management

• Manage, coordinate and/or participate in bank-wide or internal projects
• The type of Data Analytics projects may range from regulatory obligations (i.e. data quality), creation of data mart, application development, robotic etc.
• Should be able to run project independently and ensure timelines & quality
• Strong stakeholder management skills and able to communicate effectively at different level of seniority

Policy Governance and Operations

• Oversee and support policy implementation and operations within the function
• Manage risk assessment, audit and regulatory requests
• Preferably someone familiar and comfortable with the risk & controls and documentation practices in Bank

Watch List Management

• Manage a team and oversee the watch list management operation
• Manage end-user enquiries and accounts
• Manage vendor, invoice and support contract discussion

Automation & Analytics

• Manage / develop automation and analytics solutions using Hadoop, Qlik and Python for compliance stakeholders
• The business scope evolves around AML and general compliance coverage such as Money Mule, Trade Base Money Laundering, FATCA, CRS etc
• Automation project may adopt robotics or VBA solutions
• Support special / high-priority projects, including building analytical capabilities in response to external (e.g., regulatory) requests or internal intelligence, or based on gaps identified for existing analytical capabilities / models

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Analytics or equivalent
• At least 10 years of experience working in financial institution
• Experience working on large-scale projects
• Experience in programming and/or analytics
• Experience in policy, risk management and governance
• Experience in compliance business domain
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities
• Strong interpersonal, relationship-building, and negotiating skills
• Strategic vision with the ability to execute
