Responsibilities:
Collaborate with business teams to align on values, goals, strategy, and roadmaps, and provide them with data and data engineering capabilities.

Manage data engineering teams, plan and implement goals and roadmaps for the team.

Develop guidelines, standards, and best practices for data engineering and ensure the high stability, scalability, efficiency, security, and low latency of the data platform, pipeline, and solutions.

Define and promote standards and guidelines for data engineering development and operations, and foster engineering culture by promoting technology innovations and excellence.

Lead the team with a vision on emerging technologies and digital trends relevant to the company\'s goals and evolving needs.

Hire, develop, evaluate, reward, and retain a highly productive and innovative team.

Requirements:
Possess a Bachelor\'s Degree in Computer Science, or relevant disciplines.

Possess at least 8 years of experience in the big data industry & including at least 4 years of experience managing a huge data engineering teams with in internet industry or comparable high-paced businesses.

Possess at least 7 years of experience with PB-scale data platforms and excellent knowledge and experience with big data tech stacks, such as Hadoop/HDFS/Kafka/MapReduce/Spark/Flink/Storm/StructuredStreaming/Clickhouse/Presto/Impala/Doris/Druid/Kylin/Hudi/Delta/Iceberg/Kudo/...

SME in data warehousing and data lake theory and methodology, data management, data governance, and data architecture design.

Possess strong technical knowledge of data integrations, ETL, data warehouse, data lake, and data modeling.

Have strong coding skills in SQL/Python/Java/Scala/...

Posses strong experience leading and driving large-scale projects/initiatives that require complex cross-team collaborations over three months.

Have good knowledge of BI, Analytical, and DevOps methodologies and related products.

Be business value-oriented.

Possess experience in end to end big data platform and data engineering team establishment experience.
