With the objective of driving revenue growth, the Analytics Manager plays a vital role in analyzing business performance, identifying gaps and opportunities, and driving new proactive initiatives to bring commercial growth to the next level. Day-to-day activities include performance analysis, partner deep-dives, identifying anomalies and gaps, and building scalable tools to accelerate speed to insights. Key stakeholders include the VP of Sales in APAC and the wider APAC account management organisation. This person will also partner as needed with other functions such as finance, operations, supply, and the the broader analytics organisation at PLS.This position is based in Singapore, reporting to a Director in Analytics.What you will do:Drive proactive opportunity identification related to APAC partners in Expedia\'s B2B business in order to grow revenue and market shareConduct deep-dive analysis at a partner or market level to explain latest trends and changesProvide recommendations to APAC sales leadership on revenue improvement priorities, based on expected opportunity sizeMeasure results and learnings from any APAC-specific initiatives implemented, including impact to revenue, competitiveness and supply metricsBuild and manage relationship with stakeholders and partners in the regionWho you are:Min. 3 years work experience as Business Analyst or Data Scientist with focus on strategic / business problems (required)Proven experience in identifying growth opportunities, and driving the implementation of solutions to realize them (required)Excellent SQL skills, with ability to write SQL from scratch, good understanding of databases (required)Experience with reporting and data visualisation tools, in particular Tableau (required)Strong understanding of revenue drivers and commercial environmentExcellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex analysis to a non-technical audience (required)Good understanding of statistics and probability, with ability to apply to commercial problem solvingExperience in sales analytics role (i.e. analytics role working with a sales function specifically) preferredBachelor\xe2\x80\x99s in quantitative discipline - Data Science, Maths, Business / Economics, etc.Fluency in English.
