WHAT YOU WILL DO As a Data Scientist, you will be designing predictive and recommendation models leveraging Tribe's data lakes. This is a role for graduate students who are interested to become data scientists, or who have a background in data modelling. We are looking for a professional who will bring agile thinking, an understanding of process data, and can thrive in a virtual, global team. Work collaboratively within the product team to build deployable models within the context of product requirements Perform on-site or off-site data collection, data organization, storage and processing Develop data-driven solutions using data mining, statistical modelling and machine learning methods, including insights generation and recommendation engines Define testing and validation processes Documentation of research, experiments and model findings/results Build interactive dashboards to showcase recommendations and insights Champion the experience perspective across teams Clearly convey insights and expertise to stakeholders to inform and validate business decisions ABOUT YOU We're looking for a highly motivated team member that is collaborative, creative and unafraid to take ownership: You're a go-getter with juggling skills (or multiple hats) who can thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment. And if you have these skills, we'd love to talk to you: Graduate student in Data Science, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related discipline Strong interest in data science and good working knowledge of Python, SQL and R Good understanding or experience in data processing and machine learning is required A self-starting attitude with strong motivation to deliver under minimal supervision Affinity with social networking or marketplace Global mind set, experience of working across multiple time zones Ability to work with stakeholders to understand detailed requirements and design complete user experience that meet business needs and vision A culturally aware team player
