You will be part of the Solution Engineering team that resides in Singapore responsible for end-to-end analytics initiatives. Your focus is to designs and develops new technical solutions/capabilities to solve large, complex business problems and deliver new capabilities. Responsible for technical planning, designing, development and modification of new solution specifications and application. This includes technical design of content structure, user/process flows and interfaces. Proficient in information technology, platforms and architecture. Creates solutions from initial concept to fully tested production and communicates results to a broad range of audiences. The Solution Engineering team works on various industry 4.0 projects that comprises of hardware and software automation along with production/supply chain projects. Strong project management skill, interpersonal/communication skill, supply chain experience/knowledge, data science, statistic and programming is preferable. The role entails high-frequency engagements with working-level team members, therefore, offers an excellent opportunity for candidates to gain knowledge and perspective of business at multiple levels. Responsibilities

• Work with stakeholders across the organization to identify opportunities for leveraging company data to drive business solutions.
• Lead advanced analytic solutions with different functional teams to define projects roadmap, return on investment analysis, project budgets from execution to deployment.
• Analyze complex problems, interpret operational needs, and develop creative & innovative solutions involving data model design/ reporting assembly/ application structure to drive optimization and improvement of supply chain, products, manufacturing processes and solution strategies.
• Assess the effectiveness and accuracy of new data sources and data gathering techniques using IIoT technique.
• Develop custom data models, algorithms and predictive modeling to increase and optimize manufacturing experiences, revenue generation and other business outcomes.
• Develop processes and tools to monitor and analyze model performance and data accuracy.
• A subject matter expert on web analytics and data science and stay abreast of data science best practices and new applications in machine learning, big data analytics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree or University Degree or equivalent in Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, another quantitative field is required.
• Solid statistics or data analytics approaches, methods, applications to real world problems.
• 3+ years of experience in working with databases and using statistical computer languages: R, Python, SQL, etc.
• Experience in ETL/ELT framework, working with and creating data architectures
• Experience with web services: Redshift, S3, IoT Core, Spark, etc.
• Understanding of reporting & data visualization tools such as Qlik Sense and PowerBI.
• Experience in creating and using advanced machine learning algorithms and statistics: regression, scenario analysis, modeling, clustering, decision trees, neural networks, etc.
• Excellent analytical skills - the ability to identify trends, patterns and insights from data
• Knowledge in website scripts such as XML, JavaScript, JSON
• Proficiency in verbal, written communication, ability to articulate the key findings of the data/information and summarize into presentation form
• Self-starter who can work independently for new initiatives with little supervision.
• A good communicator with effective stakeholder management & conflict resolution skills.
