Job Description
- Require a data search engineer with hands-on experiences in building lexical search-based applications.
- Candidate should have a good understanding of modelling data for search, building index and query pipelines, building search algorithms and improving relevance, and DevOps to deploy supporting applications
- Bachelor\'s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
- At least 3 years of experience in search engineering and information retrieval.
- Firm understanding of data modelling for search relevance.
- Familiar with information retrieval algorithms and an understanding of lexical search engines.
- Familiar with building search engine algorithms to fine-tune search relevancy.
- Proficient in one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, or NodeJS.
- Proficient in using Unix-like operating systems and familiar with Shell scripts/commandline tools.
- Experience in building CI/CD pipelines.
- A good team player with strong analytical skills.
- Enjoy problem solving and delivering innovative ideas.
- Familiarity with ML algorithms and semantic search/vector databases.
- Familiarity with Tomcat and Microsoft IIS.
- Understanding of Kubernetes and Red Hat OpenShift.\xe2\x80\x8b
