The individual in this role will contribute to administrative tasks, support data analysis and machine learning projects, assist in organising team events, and help manage data governance and communication efforts. This position requires adaptability, attention to detail, and a collaborative approach.Key Responsibilities1. Support for Data Analysis and Machine Learning Projects:\xc2\xb7 Aid data analysts and data scientists by collecting and preparing training datasets, which includes tasks such as gathering images and labelling data accurately.\xc2\xb7 Participate in the validation of machine learning models by conducting preliminary tests and providing feedback to improve accuracy and efficiency.2. Data Governance and Management Assistance:\xc2\xb7 Support data governance efforts, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.\xc2\xb7 Help in tracking data acquisitions, requests and monitoring of data sharing activities, ensuring compliance with data protection and privacy regulations.\xc2\xb7 Support the implementation of data governance frameworks by documenting data processes and maintaining data inventories.3. Administrative Assistance:\xc2\xb7 Conduct administrative duties such as scheduling and arranging Data Division meetings and events, booking of related venues, requesting and circulating agenda and taking of meeting notes.\xc2\xb7 Ensure effective knowledge management by updating the taxonomy, assisting project leads to archive information, and keeping records up-to-date and making information readily accessible to team members.4. Team Building and Event Organisation:\xc2\xb7 Assist in the planning and execution of team-building activities and retreats, contributing to a positive and cohesive team environment.\xc2\xb7 Support logistical arrangements and coordinate with vendors and venues to ensure events run smoothly.\xc2\xb7 Organise brownbag sessions and data workshops for data users within the organisation.5. Communication and Promotion Support:\xc2\xb7 Contribute to the creation of communication materials such as newsletters, blog posts, and social media content to promote the division\'s work and achievements.\xc2\xb7 Assist in updating the division\'s web content and managing online platforms to engage with the community and stakeholders effectively.\xc2\xb7 Assist with the workplan consultation process including the call for collaboration inputs and setting up of Division\xe2\x80\x99s booth at the organisation workplan seminar.
