Data and Analytics Test Manager

Key Requirements

• Test Management Experience: Proven track record in test management, specifically for Data and Analytics projects. Experience in managing testing phases for large data platform migration engagements.
• Telecommunications Background: 3-5 years of experience in the telecommunications industry. Familiarity with telco-specific data, systems, and business processes.
• Power BI Expertise: Hands-on experience with Power BI for data visualization and analysis. Ability to develop and interpret complex reports and dashboards.
• SQL and Database Knowledge: Proficiency in SQL, with a preference for candidates experienced in Databricks or Azure SQL. Understanding of database structures, theories, principles, and practices.

Key Responsibilities

• End-to-End Test Management: Oversee all aspects of testing within large data platform migration projects, ensuring comprehensive coverage of data integrity, performance, and functionality.
• Stakeholder Management: Liaise with business users and stakeholders to ensure testing objectives are aligned with business needs. Effectively communicate test progress, insights, and outcomes.
• Test Strategy Development: Develop and document a comprehensive test strategy, detailing methodologies, tools, timelines, and resource requirements.
• Reconciliation Strategy Preparation: Prepare a reconciliation strategy to ensure data accuracy and consistency post-migration. Implement checks and balances to validate data integrity.
• Test Plan and Case Review: Oversee the creation of test plans and test cases, ensuring they are robust and cover all critical scenarios. Review and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
• Test Team Management: Lead and manage a geographically distributed test team based in Singapore and India. Coordinate efforts, delegate tasks, and ensure efficient team collaboration and productivity.
• Reporting and Analysis: Regularly report on test progress, challenges, and outcomes. Analyze test results to identify trends, issues, and areas for improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor\'s or Master\'s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Strong leadership skills with experience in managing cross-cultural teams.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
