Our Data Trust (DT) Vector is dedicated to elevating security and privacy capabilities, anchoring Seagate\'s position as the industry\'s most reliable provider of secure storage solutions.

We are currently on the lookout for talented interns to join our team and contribute to groundbreaking research in emerging cryptographic and security technologies. The internship program offers a variety of opportunities to prototype, experiment and benchmark innovative ideas and concepts in the area of hardware/embedded system. About the role - you will:

As an intern within the Data Trust Vector, you will be instrumental in researching emerging cryptographic and security technologies. This role provides a dynamic environment for prototyping, experimenting, and benchmarking cutting-edge ideas and concepts in various projects.

• Engage in forward-thinking projects, developing proof of concepts in areas like cryptography, security, and authentication techniques.
• Collaborate with Seagate\'s global research teams, focusing on hardware and embedded systems related to data security.
• Apply academic knowledge to explore the threat landscape and investigate advanced technologies to mitigate these threats.

About you:

We\'re looking for a candidate with the following attributes:

• You are a committed team player with excellent communication skills and a proactive learning attitude.
• A background or interest in bioengineering, biosensors, and biometric/bioinformatics is highly desirable.
• Able to commit to a 6-month semester internship duration.

Your experience includes:

• Currently pursuing a PHD/Master/Bachelor in Electronics Engineering, Bioengineering or any related fields
• Experience in small signal processing
• Familiarity with embedded system coding or programming.
• An understanding or interest in data security.
• Experience or coursework involving development in a Linux environment is an added advantage.

Location:

The Shugart site (named after Seagate\'s founder, Al Shugart) is a research and design center. Easily accessible from the One-North MRT Station, many employees choose to take mass transportation to work. Being a purpose-built building, The Shugart has excellent employee recreational facilities. Take an active break at our badminton courts, table tennis tables, in-house gym, and recreation rooms.
