We are seeking candidate who has experienced in Data Centre as subject matter expert to join our team. He/she will be part of the engineering team for the Data Centre Business.
Job responsibilities:

• Preparation of RFI, design briefs, technical reports
• Standardise design concept for all new builds.
• Work with appointed consultants for all new builds.
• Deliver cost-effective design deliverables in compliance with statutory and stakeholders\xe2\x80\x99 requirements.
• Co-ordinate with architect and other consultants to resolve interface issues and technical clarifications.
• Review tender documents (conditions of contract, specifications and tender drawings)
• Involved in overall project lifecycle from study, planning, designing, tendering and in construction stages.
• Proactive communication, mentoring and guiding the Team to ensure their constant development

The Ideal candidate should possess:

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree or equivalent in Civil & Structural Engineering preferred or in the absence years of experience in the construction field.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant working experience in Data center, buildings or infrastructure works
• Knowledgeable in Autocad and/or BIM software will be an advantage.

• Strong project/construction management skills would be an advantage.
• Manage new Data Centre project execution for green and/ or brown field projects.
• Execute end to end project initiation process.
• Development of project master program, project charter and set up project processes.
• Sourcing for suitable specialist and subject matter experts to be part of project delivery team.
• Translate business requirement/plan into executable project deliverables.
• Prepare project budget capital funding, manage approved project capital funding cashflow and spending within approved budgets.
• Timely and accurately reporting of project progress and expenditure to management.
• Familiar with Data Canter risk redundancy configurations and requirement.
• Day to day construction oversight to ensure the project are carrying our safely complying with EHS requirement, on schedule, cost efficient that is within approved budget and compliance with specification.
• Assist in researching new technologies that could apply to new DC or to enhance current DC.
• Knowledgeable in various M&E critical systems (e.g. UPS, Generator, Chiller, Cooling Tower) requirement including testing and commissioning (i.e. FAT, SAT, IST) would be advantage.
• Liaise with Engineering Solution, Energy & Sustainability and DC Operation colleagues for project requirements.
• Oversee to ensure Environment, Safety and Occupational Health implementation by project contractors.
• Resourceful and excellent problem-solving skills, timely escalation to superior.
