& Summary Our Deals services span across the entire deal continuum, from strategy formulation to deal origination, transaction support and finance raising, through to post deal integration and exit. Our services cover M&A, Infrastructure and Distressed sectors. We consistently lead the league tables for mid-market deals in Asia Pacific, and also received various accolades on infrastructure project finance and transaction support services.

Responsibilities:

You will work alongside a team of experienced Deals professionals and assist in analysing and processing large amounts of information and data for clients on M&A engagements

You will make use of statistical analysis and visualisation techniques to provide deep insight to clients

You will also work on projects that are non-data analytics-related within the wider Deals team

You will be supporting a broad range of commercial and analytical assignments, stretching yourself across many different industry sectors and engaging directly with the senior management team and investors of our clients

Requirements:

Final year students majoring or minoring in Data and Analytics from local and overseas universities

Excellent academic grade (minimum 2nd class upper) and co-curricular achievement record

Passionate in working with data

Strong analytical and problem solving capabilities

Results-oriented and a self-starter who is resourceful, possess strong business acumen and the ability to think laterally and outside the box

Ability to work independently and effectively under pressure and be highly adaptable in a dynamic environment

Meticulous and able to work with multiple data sources and manage multiple assignments concurrently

Effective team member with strong interpersonal skills

Excellent communication skill (verbal and written)

Fluency in other languages will be an added advantage

Willing to travel is essential

It will be an added advantage if you have basic competency in the following:

Experience of SQL and /or Visual Basic

Experience in using BI tools (such as QlikView, Tableau or Anaplan)

Analytical software (e.g. MATLAB, SAS or R)
