The CCIB DCDA team aims to be a digital-first and data-driven delivering enhanced client experiences, driving new wallet share and realising untapped client value and market opportunities. The Global Head of CCIB Data & Analytics will lead a strong centralised, cross-CCIB function growing wallet share with existing clients to become their preferred banking partner with simple digital delivery of data-driven products business insights and increased relevance to their business operations. As a key member of the DCDA Management Team (MT) the Head of Data & Analytics will drive the Data & Analytics strategy in alignment with the business units and in line with the CCIB and Group strategy.
The Group Head will lead the data strategy and will have first-hand experience in Wholesale Banking which is critical in order to establish the right understanding and collaboration with the business. The Group Head will have the appropriate understanding and experience of how to run an end-to-end business together with solid understanding of how technology and cloud platforms enable the business.
The Data group will comprise of the following functions: Data Science and Innovation, Data Platforms and Engineering and Business-Driven Data Solutions. The Global Head will bring these areas together into a strategic vision for CCIB, aligned to the overall SCB Data strategy and to CCIB\'s growth plans. The Global Head will be responsible for the day-to-day running of these areas and their collaboration with the business and technology teams. The Global Head will also be the lynchpin to other areas of the Bank to ensure that data sources can be leveraged, and that products or solutions can be expanded and benefit the broader group.
The Global Head will have extensive knowledge of the application of defensive data principles and practices with a clear grasp of the data cycle, together with principles for ethical and responsible use of data and AI. Cross-functional, cross-divisional, and cross-jurisdictional experience is a requirement, together with regional regulatory requirements and guidelines (i.e., FEAT principles). The Group Head should demonstrate the ability to make sound strategic and tactical decisions, considering multiple factors and unpredictable events and the ability to simplify complex processes where necessary and feasible.
The Group Head will lead with innovation based on data solutions productisation, further commercialisation and monetisation in partnership with channels and the business. The Global Head will be responsible for developing the overall go-to-market strategy for Data Products and their monetisation and lead effective Data Products development programs from ideation to post-launch and ongoing development.
The Global Head will be expected to collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring data products to market and work closely with the business to ensure that these products benefit their clients and contribute to incremental revenue and/or substantially reduce cost and increase operational efficiency.
The Global Head will demonstrate passion for data and analytics applied with a business lens and the ability to turn data into new revenue sources to Monetize the data to enable the business and the bank\'s clients and will demonstrate the ability to conduct deep research into business use cases and present scenarios to monetize revenue from existing resources and capture new opportunities. The Global Head will have a successful track record leveraging disruptive approaches including data mining, quantitative analysis, portfolio optimisation and cloud-based solutions and will have excellent communication (written and oral), storytelling, presentation and interpersonal skill and excellent leadership and management skills.

Ensure implementation and consistent management of solid processes for data quality and metadata. Introduce and adjust process to comply with increasing global and regional regulatory requirements (I.e. GDPR, DORA, BCBS, PDPA etc.)
