Line of Service Advisory Industry/Sector Not Applicable Specialism Data, Analytics & AI Management Level Associate & Summary Our Deals services span across the entire deal continuum, from strategy formulation to deal origination, transaction support and finance raising, through to post deal integration and exit. Our services cover M&A, Infrastructure and Distressed sectors. We consistently lead the league tables for mid-market deals in Asia Pacific, and also received various accolades on infrastructure project finance and transaction support services. Kindly note this opening is meant for pipelining purposes. We are looking for candidates to join our Associate intake in July 2023. Associates will be under the Deals Edge Programme. Responsibilities :

• You will work alongside a team of experienced Deals professionals and assist in analysing and processing large amounts of information and data for clients on M&A engagements
• You will make use of statistical analysis and visualisation techniques to provide deep insight to clients
• You will also work on projects that are non-data analytics-related within the wider Deals team
• You will be supporting a broad range of commercial and analytical assignments, stretching yourself across many different industry sectors and engaging directly with the senior management team and investors of our clients

Requirements:

• Final year students majoring or minoring in Data and Analytics from local and overseas universities
• Excellent academic grade (minimum 2nd class upper) and co-curricular achievement record
• Passionate in working with data
• Strong analytical and problem solving capabilities
• Results-oriented and a self-starter who is resourceful, possess strong business acumen and the ability to think laterally and outside the box
• Ability to work independently and effectively under pressure and be highly adaptable in a dynamic environment
• Meticulous and able to work with multiple data sources and manage multiple assignments concurrently
• Effective team member with strong interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication skill (verbal and written)
• Fluency in other languages will be an added advantage
• Willing to travel is essential
• It will be an added advantage if you have basic competency in the following:
• Experience of SQL and /or Visual Basic
• Experience in using BI tools (such as QlikView, Tableau or Anaplan)
• Analytical software (e.g. MATLAB, SAS or R)
  

For Associates with an Accounting degree: Upon commencement, you will attend an intensive 1-month PwC Valuation Masterclass course which will help you develop the necessary skills to work on valuation and financial modelling projects. Thereafter, we will facilitate and sponsor you for the Chartered Valuer and Appraiser Programme to further develop your Business Valuation skills. For Associates with a Non-Accounting degree: Upon commencement, you will attend an intensive 1-month PwC Valuation Masterclass course which will help you develop the necessary skills to work on valuation and financial modelling projects. Thereafter, we will equip you with fundamental accounting knowledge via the Foundation Programme of the Singapore (CA) Qualification Programme ( https://www.sac.gov.sg/ ). Once you’ve successfully completed the Foundation Programme, you will undertake the SQP. Application Deadline: 4 September 2022
