Job Description
Our client is a well-established MNC, market leader in the Logistic industry. They are looking for a Demand & Supply Chain Planning Specialist to assist their Supply Chain team for the next phrase of their business. They are located in West – easily accessible.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible in ensuring supply continuity through effective demand & supply planning
- Responsible in working out forecast with reference to historical trends and new market insights
- Responsible in placing and tracking of orders to supplier
- Responsible in being proactive to communicates inventory risk to management and customer
- Responsible in monitoring inbound shipment and work with freight department in prioritizing
- Responsible to liaising with suppliers for credits on damaged and rejected products
- Responsible in taking proactive approach in managing slow moving and obsolete inventories
- Responsible in maintaining all supply related parameters and master data in relevant planning systems
- Responsible in generating various reports for stakeholders
- Responsible in being involved in process improvement/ enhancement projects
- Responsible in working together with other departments to resolve issues
- Any other adhoc duties assigned
- Minimum Degree/ Diploma in Business/ Supply Chain or relevant studies
- Minimum 2 years relevant experience in supply/ demand planning and inventory management
- Prior experienced in managing short shelf-life product is a bonus
