Job Description

Our client is a well-established MNC, market leader in the Logistic industry. They are looking for a Demand & Supply Chain Planning Specialist to assist their Supply Chain team for the next phrase of their business. They are located in West \xe2\x80\x93 easily accessible.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible in ensuring supply continuity through effective demand & supply planning
• Responsible in working out forecast with reference to historical trends and new market insights
• Responsible in placing and tracking of orders to supplier
• Responsible in being proactive to communicates inventory risk to management and customer
• Responsible in monitoring inbound shipment and work with freight department in prioritizing
• Responsible to liaising with suppliers for credits on damaged and rejected products
• Responsible in taking proactive approach in managing slow moving and obsolete inventories
• Responsible in maintaining all supply related parameters and master data in relevant planning systems
• Responsible in generating various reports for stakeholders
• Responsible in being involved in process improvement/ enhancement projects
• Responsible in working together with other departments to resolve issues
• Any other adhoc duties assigned

Requirements:

• • Minimum Degree/ Diploma in Business/ Supply Chain or relevant studies
  • Minimum 2 years relevant experience in supply/ demand planning and inventory management
  • Prior experienced in managing short shelf-life product is a bonus
