About Our ClientOur client is a global supply chain management and logistics company, primarily serving the food service industry. They provide comprehensive solutions including inventory management, distribution, and logistics services.
- Ensure supply continuity through effective demand and supply planning.
- Develop forecasts based on historical trends and new market insights.
- Place and track orders with suppliers.
- Identify and communicate inventory risks to management and customers.
- Monitor inbound shipments and coordinate with the freight department to prioritize deliveries.
- Liaise with suppliers to obtain credits for damaged and rejected products.
- Take a proactive approach in managing slow-moving and obsolete inventories.
- Maintain all supply-related parameters and master data in relevant planning systems.
- Generate reports for stakeholders.
- Participate in process improvement and enhancement projects.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve issues and support any ad-hoc requests.
- 1 year of supply/demand planning and inventory management
- Degree/Diploma in Supply Chain
- Proficiency in JDE/SAP and Microsoft Excel.
- Past experience in managing short shelf life products is a must.
- Excellent opportunity to join a US MNC.
- Experience managing short shelf-life products required.
- 1 year contract subject to extension and conversion.
