About Our ClientOur client is a MNC specializing in the storage and handling of oil, chemicals, gases, and LNG. The company operates a global network of over 70 terminals in strategic locations, providing infrastructure and logistics services to the energy and chemical industries.HR Operations

  • Collaborating with outsourcing vendors to manage end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring accurate and timely payroll and benefits administration. This encompasses monthly payroll, statutory reporting, and year-end individual income tax filing.
  • Ensuring compliance with local tax regulations and legislation for payroll, benefits, leave, and insurance administration.
  • Assisting the HR team with employee queries and communicating important payroll and benefits information to employees.
  • Leading the budgeting process in collaboration with Finance.
  • Managing global mobility processes, including tax reporting, cost allocation, and expense tracking, in partnership with professional service providers.
Reporting
  • Process insurance and benefits claims promptly and accurately.
  • Maintain precise records of claims and ensure compliance with local policies and legislation.
  • Prepare reports and provide claims experience statistics as required.
  • Generate HR reports on payroll, benefits, and statutory reporting requirements.
Partnership with Finance
  • Collaborate with finance department on payroll interface and reporting
  • Prepare payroll data and reports for auditors
  • Support requests on payroll, benefits, budget cycles.
Design and Implementation of C&B Initiatives
  • Implement local Compensation and Benefits (C&B) processes, policies, and programs in collaboration with the HR Center of Excellence.
  • Oversee the operational management, execution, and ongoing operation of Compensation programs and projects.
  • Update and communicate C&B policies.
  • Provide reports, payroll data, payroll calculations, and tax reporting to support the development and implementation of C&B initiatives.
  • Identify and report any gaps, inaccuracies, or potential non-compliance in C&B processes, practices, and initiatives.
Annual Performance and Salary Review
  • Initiate, drive, communicate, and manage local year-end increment and bonus schemes, including calculating increments and bonuses for employees.
  • Oversee the annual budget process plan and quarterly latest estimates reporting.
The Successful Applicant
  • 4 years of payroll and C&B experience and/or worked in HR Shared Service environment.
  • Critical thinking skills required to identify gaps and implement C&B processes
  • Knowledge of local HR legislations
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise with different teams and stakeholders
  • Proficiency in Excel
  • *Shortlisted candidates would have to take 2 virtual assessments prior to the interview
