APAC Linkedin Johnson Controls Asia Pacific: Overview | LinkedIn Career The Power Behind Your Mission OpenBlue OpenBlue : This is How a Space Comes Alive What you will do: To lead Demand Planning and S&OP process that delivers the products and services at the lowest total system costs while meeting highest level of customers and consumers satisfaction and at optimal investment in inventory. The Demand Planning S&OP Lead will drive Collaborative Demand Planning process to help business units achieve higher level of efficiency by improving forecasting capability and conduct S&OP, demand-supply review & weekly review meetings to align all stake holders on operational plan linked to business objectives. This role is part of JCH Global Supply chain team and will work together with other stake holders to drive IBP/S&OP process for all markets. Deliver on KPIs; Forecast accuracy, Forecast Stability, Launch of new products on time. How you will do it:

• Design & execute robust Integrated Business Planning (IBP) processes with KPIs to be measured to drive business growth and deliver the process through cross functional collaboration and alignments
• Deliver improvements in forecast accuracy and forecast fidelity to achieve higher service level at optimal inventory
• Collaborate with sales team for Demand forecast, Demand sensing and Demand shaping to ensure an accurate input for manufacturing and logistics team for production and delivery
• Lead Supply Chain transformational projects to drive agility and resiliency to deliver business objectives
• Support New Product Commercialization, Sales planning & Budgeting for to ensure delivery to plan in the short to medium term
• Generate central forecast; Analyze and validate forecasts and identifies exceptions, review historical sales trends, research demand drivers, prepare forecast data, develop statistical forecast models, and evaluate forecast results
• Analyze to reconcile variances and refine the forecast to reflect updated sales and marketing assumptions. Provide inputs /analytic to sales team to improve forecast accuracy in the short to medium term.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing and finance to understand demand forecast drivers and accurate information is used for demand forecasts
• Manage weekly demand review: Works with cross functional teams and managing statistical forecast exceptions on a weekly basis
• Drive regional engagement in market intelligence and integrating into strategies for long term and short-term demand plans.
• IBP/S&OP Process – Responsible for driving S&OP process to ensure alignment on operational plan linked to business objectives leading to higher service level, compliance to plan and operational efficiency. Conduct cadence of S&OP meetings (Demand review, Pre S&OP supply review, S&OP and Executive S&OP meetings) to ensure full visibility and alignment of plan in the short to medium term. Review aggregate demand and Supply plans with key focus on inventory turns and forecast accuracy. KPIs to be delivered: Fill Rate/OTIF & Inventory turns.
• New Product Commercialization– Provide support for launch of new products on time. Work closely with sales & marketing, engineering and manufacturing team to ensure execution of new product commercialization projects as planned.
• Supply Chain transformation – Work with IT function to implement best technology driven practices in demand planning. Drive & Execute Global SC transformation projects (Integrated Supply Chain Solution, BI tools etc.) in close coordination with Global Supply Chain, Sale & Marketing and Manufacturing team. Deliver on SC tools roll out as planned.
• Provide long term forecast inputs to manufacturing team for supply network optimization, long term infrastructure and capacity augmentation plan.
• Reporting and Analytics – Publish & report KPI dashboard to track progress vs plan on a weekly/ monthly basis. Build a framework for root cause analysis for variance vs plan for key KPIs. Provide support for MIS (as per requirement) and presentations for key meetings (presentations for SC meet, Quarterly/Annual review meetings etc.) Work with Global Supply Chain team on consolidating and analyzing key KPIs.

• Preferably completed tertiary studies in Bachelors in Engineering / Bachelors in Technology from an institute/university of repute. An MBA with specialization in Operations & Supply Chain Management from a tier-1 institute would be highly valued.
• Relevant experience in Demand Planning and IBP process in a complex multi plant supply network.
• 10-15 years of relevant post qualification experience in reputed organizations (Global / American MNCs) with strong manufacturing & supply chain operations.
