The Demand & Supply Planning Manager is responsible of sales forecasting to support zone strategy & distribution to stores for the entire South Asia Pacific region. They will directly manage the sales forecasting process, new products distribution and supervise an Inventory Planner in charge of daily activities on baseline distribution & inventory management. They will work closely with local retail and merchandising teams to have a deep understanding of local specificities and commercial actions, and with New York Global teams to embrace the central vision.ResponsibilitiesSALES FORECASTING
  • Actively create and manage the full monthly forecasting process with constant follow up of performance on weekly basis
  • Prepare the monthly Zone best estimate and coordinate with budget
  • Work on sales planning at product category/family/sku level
  • Coordinate with central supply chain on the monthly Forecast validation process
  • Constant review of new product profiles, performances & corresponding baseline cannibalisation
NEW PRODUCTS MANAGEMENT
  • Create and coordinate the Zone launch planning process
  • Work with Merch team on New Products forecasts, align with them the launch strategy, set up target stocks accordingly, both at regional warehouse & stores level
  • Coordinate with central supply chain the timing of product availability to match launches to ensure enough stock will be available in Regional DC
  • Create a monthly launch planning process for all products categories: ensure the correct departure and arrival of new product from Regional DC to stores
  • Coordinate with Regional DC on the delivery plan
  • Deal with store inquiries on New Products
  • Prepare visibility on the coming launches & share with all departments stock situation and performance vs forecast
LEADERSHIP & INVENTORY PLANNING OVERSIGHT
  • Supervises the Inventory Planner who oversees; Target Stock definition, rebalancing operations, new stores management, sold orders & reporting
PROJECTS & PROCESS IMPROVEMENT
  • Support the Director, Supply & Logistics on process and tool improvement with local and central Supply team
  • Develop new reporting tools to better monitor the actual business and improve KPIs (sales performance, forecast accuracy, in stock rate, stock levels & health, new products performance, long tail management)
  • Contribute to develop the Anaplan tools to improve forecasting & store replenishment process
  • Improve best estimate process & deploy S&OP process
  • Work with retail and logistics teams on process improvement
  • Be the planning lead for key projects such as Ecommerce expansion, OMNI channel flows implementation & coming POS/OMS/ERP change in Australia market
Qualifications
  • 7+ years business experience in Supply Chain in Luxury or retail industry
  • College degree and/or business experience
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to manage and function in a dynamic environment while handling multiple assignments
  • Excellent written/verbal communication and diplomacy skills
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel & Ability to learn new systems especially BI
  • Interest in our brand and products
