The Supply Chain Manager, Emerging Asia is a key role that supports the Supply Chain Director, ANZPI / IMENA / Asia, and Emerging Asia (EA). In partnership with the Director, this role supports the local Leadership team in managing this complex region, consisting of the following Local Economy markets: Cambodia, East Timor, Guam, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore and Vietnam. This position involves a variety of fundamental disciplines including Supply Chain and 3PL warehouse management that are critical to the success of the region, which is significantly more diverse and complicated than other mature regions.What You Can Expect
People Development/Leadership
Lead and support Supply Chain Team in Emerging Asia (1 Direct Report)
Ability to grow and develop direct report(s), focusing on teaching them to work toward solution-oriented initiatives and advancement of the supply chain and logistics performance in the region
Serve as a strategic thinker, helping to project outward on ways to grow and simplify the complexities of the supply chain
Ability to challenge the status quo and to teach the same for direct report
Serve as a strong coach and partner to both direct reports and peers across the Emerging Asia regionDemand and Supply Planning
Collaborate with the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) Demand Planner and EA Commercial Team on the commercial shipment forecast submission and review forecast KPIs and trends
Support the IBP process, participate in the required monthly meetings and provide feedback to improve the process
Oversee the end-to-end order to receipt process in SAP
Plan to prevent out of stocks by working closely with the global supply chain planners on product availability, production schedules and risks
Work with the commercial & marketing teams on supply alternatives to mitigate the risk of out of stock and delivering forecasted volumeDistributors - Direct Shipments
Work with the commercial teams to ensure distributors place timely orders and optimize container configurations
Ensuring shipment reports are shared by the customer service team to the distributors and lead the discussions when necessarySupply Chain Strategy
Support financial targets by proactively managing any issues related to supply, stock, warehouse and logistics
Develop strategies for managing supply risk through identification, assessments and prioritization of risk in supply area and constraint planning
Oversee collection of monthly depletion information, analysis and investigate irregularities where necessary
Assist in the creation of standardized reporting requirements for the region
Support projects in Emerging Asia and EI as needed to improve overall supply chain performance
Design and implement necessary supply chain optimization projects3PL Warehouse & Inventory Management
Monitor performance of 3PL warehouse in Singapore, in terms of inventory accuracy, on-time delivery of inbound and outbound shipments, customs clearance, documents & data accuracy
Lead contract renewal process, manage logistics cost and negotiate favourable rates and terms
Coordinate VAP Repack activities with Singapore warehouse
Manage overall inventory holdings and stock turns
Monitor inventory level to ensure a continuous supply. Present risks, scenarios and proposals to Commercial Leaders
Develop and Implement inventory strategies which cater to market needs and align to the Supply Chain strategy
Monitor Slow moving/Aged stock, collaborate with Commercial Leaders for depletion and disposition plan
Conduct monthly inventory reconciliations and yearly stock takeLogistics & Order Fulfilment
Lead Supply Chain Analyst to monitor orders and shipments, and facilitate communication between Singapore warehouse and distributor partners on all logistics matters to ensure timely shipment of goods
Manage annual gift pack allocations and ordering by distributors including inventory management
Portfolio development - responsible for completing new brand, product and SKU introductions/rationalizations, including any special pack/label requirements
Manage the diversified importing requirements for all the countries within the region including documentation, certification, analyses, samples, strip stamps and all other related requirements
Monthly calls with Supply Chain to review all open replenishment orders and all logistics issues
Oversee the order processing from the 3PL warehouse, deliver on time in full for Emerging Asia customers serviced out of the Singapore warehouse
Manage the inventory allocation to all customers for any items that are on supply risks
Support other customers/distributors that are sourcing direct from the plants and can be supplied from the Singapore warehouse to avoid/reduce any out-of-stock situationWhat You Bring to the Table
Education: College/University (Bachelors or Equivalent) in Supply Chain, Business or closely related discipline
Experience in the beverage or CPG industries
Experience in planning, warehouse management and order fulfilment
Interpersonal skills combined with strong oral and written communication skills
Effective management and coaching skills
Proven ability to independently organize work projects. Collect, analyse data and present results in a concise actionable format
Demonstrates proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, SAP, Google, Business WarehouseWhat Makes You Unique
