With a curated selection of over 100 specialty stores thoughtfully positioned throughout the mall, they provide an unmatched retail experience. Presently, they are actively seeking a Deputy Department Manager to join their dynamic team.

The Responsibilities:
Distribution and Shipping
\xe3\x83\xbbResponsible for liaising with vendor/s regarding all activities connected with movement of goods
\xe3\x83\xbbIn-charge of the preparation, processing and distribution of shipping documentation, insurance, customs clearance, etc.
\xe3\x83\xbbLiaise and coordinate with internal and external parties on matters pertaining to distribution, warehouse, and other related issues
\xe3\x83\xbbPlan and manage the warehouse annual budget
\xe3\x83\xbbPrepare the monthly distribution and warehouse operating expenditure reports
\xe3\x83\xbbTo oversee and ensure that all documents are promptly submitted to Distribution department
\xe3\x83\xbbTo ensure all suppliers abide to company\'s rules and regulations during receiving
\xe3\x83\xbbTo monitor the traffic flow at the loading bay in order not to cause any inconvenience
\xe3\x83\xbbTo conduct meetings weekly for staff feedback regarding distribution, warehouse operation and home delivery
\xe3\x83\xbbTo ensure prompt and efficient Home Delivery services
\xe3\x83\xbbMonitor and coordinate the inventory stock control movement
To oversee the following operations:
\xe3\x83\xbbPrinting and submission of documents to Retail Managers\' attention
\xe3\x83\xbbSubmission of diskettes for generation of SKU and price-tags
\xe3\x83\xbbAll merchandise to be price-tagged before sending to department store
\xe3\x83\xbbAll merchandise to be re-packed according to MD\'s request
\xe3\x83\xbbAll merchandise to be delivered on time
Warehousing
\xe3\x83\xbbResponsible for liaising with vendor/s regarding all activities connected with warehousing operations
\xe3\x83\xbbEnsure efficient usage of goods, proper stock control and rotation, movement of goods and proper price-tagging of merchandise
\xe3\x83\xbbEnsure that all safety measures are complied with the requirements of the Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) Act
Staff Management
\xe3\x83\xbbTo supervise the department\'s supervisors and store assistants\' work performances and job functions; to ensure that all staff discharge their duties correctly and smoothly in accordance with department\'s system and company\'s regulations
\xe3\x83\xbbTo maintain discipline in the warehouse / department
\xe3\x83\xbbTo plan work schedules and apportion tasks and responsibilities
\xe3\x83\xbbTo introduce work procedures to improve efficiency
\xe3\x83\xbbAny other job-related duties assigned by the company

Requirements

The Requirements:
\xe3\x83\xbbDiploma in Logistics Management or other related disciplines
\xe3\x83\xbbMinimum 5 years of experience in logistics operation (B2C)
\xe3\x83\xbbProficient in Word processing and Excel spreadsheet
\xe3\x83\xbbExcellent interpersonal skills
\xe3\x83\xbbCandidates with a strong passion for the retail sector
