This role is responsible for the financial operations (involving billing and collections, staff claims, treasury, financial reporting and audit) of STB's HQ and Regional Offices, and leads a team of 1 This role is responsible for the financial operations (involving billing and collections, staff claims, treasury, financial reporting and audit) of STB's HQ and Regional Offices, and leads a team of 12 staff. Main Responsibilities: HQ Responsible for the accounting & financial functions, and drive towards achievement of all operations KPIs Perform periodic review of finance policies, processes and practices to ensure relevancy, proper internal control and best-in-class practices and implement any new or emerging financial reporting standards Lead the re-engineering of financial processes via streamlining and automation through the use of appropriate technology, and manage the change process with all stakeholders. Perform data analytics to provide insights for effective strategy and workplan formulation and execution Ensure prompt billing and collections Responsible for working closely with auditors, provide audit timeline, audit schedules and address queries Regional Offices (RO) As the lead business partner for the ROs, responsible for providing advisory to RO teams on corporate policies which include but is not limited to in-depth finance policies and first level HR and/or procurement matters. Ensure smooth running of the financial operations at the ROs and compliance with local laws and regulations relating to financial matters such as taxation, reporting or submission of corporate or financial information to banks or local authorities etc. Reporting Manage and lead finance team to ensure timely and accurate month end year end closing and reporting for both HQ and Regional Offices Prepare year-on-year variance analysis Oversee the monthly balance sheet review Financial system Participate in system implementation and upgrades, including re-design of workflows and processes based on best practices and automation Treasury matters Lead in all bank and cashflow matters and responsible for updating the bank mandates for all bank accounts Job Requirements: Leadership - takes initiative and leads by example.
