Deputy Director Of Cloud Business Development

Job Description

Responsibilities:



1. Fully responsible for cloud business development and sales in the Singapore market, covering both public cloud and on-premises solutions, managing a portfolio worth tens of millions of USD.


2. Build and led a high-performing team of Business Development Managers (BDs) and Solution Architects (SAs), driving growth strategies, analyzing market trends, and setting operational objectives.


3. Spearhead the cloud strategy, have the experience to successfully delivering major transformation projects, such as banks mainframe migration, database project, VMware migration, or public cloud migration. Led public cloud expansion in the internet sector, driving adoption of AI, computing, PaaS, database, and big data projects.


4. Conducted regular business reviews, leveraging internal analytics and market intelligence to identify customer needs, uncover growth opportunities, and deliver strategic solutions to increase sales and customer retention.


5. Directed account managers to achieve KPI commitments, defined revenue targets for both public cloud and Hybrid Cloud Services (HCS), and ensured alignment with five operational sectors: government, FSI, carrier, transportation, and commercial public cloud.


6. Developed and maintained strong C-level relationships across industries including financial services, transportation, education, and real estate, fostering long-term partnerships and innovation.


Requirements:



1. Over 10 years of experience in the ICT industry, including more than 5 years in sales and business development leadership roles.


2. Extensive expertise in client and partner management, integrating business strategy with account management, and influencing/negotiating effectively at CIO and senior executive levels.


3. Strong analytical skills in sales performance metrics, with proven negotiation abilities and a track record of building long-term customer relationships.


4. Deep understanding of IT strategy and CIO decision-making processes, with practical experience in developing and executing complex strategic account plans aligned with market trends.


5. Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire teams and collaborate effectively with sales and delivery functions. International perspective with the ability to align local market execution with regional and global strategies.
