Deputy Director (technology Capability)
Job Description
What the role is
You drive the build-up of technology foresights capability to gain insights into technology developments and innovations.
What you will be working on
You identify technologies of interest to MINDEF/SAF, and formulate strategies to harness them for MINDEF/SAF needs. Your challenge lies in understanding the strategic issues that impact technology developments, identifying and assessing potential technology trends, and distilling the key insights to inform technology investments. You must be able to collaborate and engage with internal and external stakeholders and partners effectively in a fast-paced environment, where needs will continue to evolve.
What we are looking for
You must have a tertiary qualification, with at least 10 years of work experience in preferably plans or policy work. Technology-related experience is desired but not mandatory. You must also possess good communication and analytical skills.
