What the role is:You will be practicing law in the unique field of intelligence, and dealing with governance matters within an intelligence organisationWhat you will be working on:

• Advise SID on its legal rights, liabilities, and risks Advise SID on relevant comparative law Assess trends in legal issues relevant to an intelligence organisation Review SID's internal policies and practices Provide technical and strategic leadership for a team Design and implement workplace processes, with future trends and needs in mind Plan and guide your team's professional growth, in both general and technical areas Build good relations and workflows with internal and external stakeholders Mentor and develop junior team members to maximise their potential What you will gain: Deep expertise on international and domestic legal trends and issues through exposure to a wide range of projects Communication and stakeholder management skills through working in multi-disciplinary teams Understanding of the Singapore and global policy landscape on intelligence trends and issues, and engagement with decision-makers in related fields Analytical skills unique to an intelligence organisation

What we are looking for:

• At least 10-15 years\' post-qualification experience in private/public legal practice, with team leadership experience preferred Strong understanding of and experience in comparative, commercial, civil, administrative, or international law Strong leadership and people management skills Ability to anticipate risks that may impact SID Strong written and verbal communication skills Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills Motivated team player, as well as an independent self-starter
