Job Description
Vessel / Operation Support
Safety Navigation
- Sailing plan review
- Provide weather forecast. Sheltering plan for typhoon.
- Provide piracy/robbery information
- GoA transit plan.
- Advise particular port/berth for safe cargo operation
- Advise cargo handling procedure.
- Advise tank cleaning plan. Monitoring tank cleaning progress.
- Collating information for special cargo operation.
- Chartering Support
- Vetting status monitoring. Vetting plan coordination
- New cargo assessment
- Budget control (TMA Fleet / Mangers)
- Senior officers relief plan approval
- Management company audit
- TC vessel’s performance monitor
- Atlantic division/ marine department
- Port captains (VCR, LDN, HOU,ROT,CPH,CHN)
- Overall planning and supervising
- QSC, Pre-QSC, TCVC, MSC, SMC meeting
- Vouchers approval (Vessel’s fund, Management fee, Insurance (war risk AP, BT)
- Incident Handling
- Emergency Command Center
- Warning/Circular issue
- DGM is to support GM of the Department and execute the duties under the supervision of the GM.
- When GM is absent, DGM may exercise the GM’s authority on behalf of the GM.
- Minimum 15 years' experience on board vessel
- Excellent command of English and Business level of Japanese
- Experience as Master on board chemical tanker or other tankers
