Job Description


Responsibilities:As the Deputy Group CFO, you will play a pivotal role in assisting the Group CFO in driving key finance functions, including fundraising initiatives for potential capital market expansions. Your focus will encompass managing the entities under the group of companies, liaising with external audit partners, assisting M&A activities, and possessing the necessary skillsets required for the company\'s growth strategies.Key Duties:Financial Leadership:Collaborate with the CFO in providing strategic financial leadership and guidance to the organisation.Assist in the development and execution of financial strategies aligned with corporate objectives.Entities Management:Assist to oversee financial activities and management of entities under the group of companies.Ensure financial cohesion and compliance across all entities within the corporate group.External Audits:Manage and oversee the relationship with external audit partners.Coordinate and provide necessary documentation for annual audits and other financial reviews.Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A):Support M&A activities, including due diligence, financial modeling, and integration planning.Evaluate potential acquisitions and partnerships, providing financial insights.Capital Market Expansions Readiness:Possess a deep understanding of processes and requirements for potential capital market expansions.Collaborate with the Group CEO to ensure the organisation is ready for capital market expansions, including financial reporting compliance.Fundraising Initiatives:Develop and implement strategies for fundraising initiatives to support the company\'s growth plans.Identify potential sources of funding and establish strong relationships with investors.Financial Reporting:Contribute to the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements.Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.Risk Management:Work closely with the Group CFO to identify and manage financial risks.Implement risk mitigation strategies to safeguard the financial health of the organization.Team Collaboration:Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the finance team.Provide mentorship and guidance to finance team members.Qualifications:

  • Bachelor\'s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
  • Proven experience in a senior finance role, demonstrating progressive leadership responsibilities.
  • Strong experience in M&A activities and a track record of successful financial transactions.
  • Experience in liaising with external audit partners and managing audit processes.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial reporting standards and regulations.
  • Exceptional analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
