Job Description

The DVP is accountable for Network Design and Vendor Selection and On-Boarding through a complex review of Commercial Strategy, Operational Strategy, Vendors capabilities including the supply and demand in Linehaul (Air, Sea, Rail and Road) and Customs Clearance brokers.
Job Responsibilities

• Plan and execute a 4PL roadmap on Network design on Air, Road, Customs Clearance
• Regular reviews with Commercial, Operations and Service Quality to upgrade and/or re-design network or vendors.
• Performance management of subordinates to execute Network Strategy timely.
• Regular meet up with Vendors to review commercial agreements to benefit Singpost from the ever-changing supply and demand situation.
• Apply strategic partner agreements such as Charters, Block space agreement, Spot rates, etc according to situation.
• Develop Policies and Playbook on Network Design,
• Vendor Negotiation Methods and Contract Management
• Manages the departmental budget and takes appropriate actions in order to optimize costs and to remain within agreed parameters.
• Prepare regular effective reports to key stakeholders, including executive/senior management on Network and Business Intelligence pertaining to the network (Linehaul Capacity and Demand, etc)

• Degree, preferably in Industrial or Process Engineering or logistics discipline with at least 5 years of equivalent experience in Airline Network and Vendor Management with strategic planning at the operational level
• 
  Minimum 5 years in role handling Projects and Project Implementation that spans across multi-functions and multi-regions. Exposed to working with vendors across the region especially in Asia and Middle East. Involved in Company\xe2\x80\x99s Budget and Business Planning contributing to Network/Operational commitment.
• Industry knowledge of Linehaul, Freight and Customs Clearance
• Ability to analyse and assess financial impact.
• Strong business acumen with big picture thinking
• Process driven and an attention to detail in process reviews.
• Ability to analyse data and act on systemic processes.
• Good persuasion and influencing skills and the ability to engage with all stakeholders and vendors.
• Ability to contribute to solutions and out of the box thinking.
• Driven and ability to work under pressure.
