Job description:
- Attend to customers’ inquiries via walk-ins, emails, WhatsApp and phone calls
- Recommend and design frames according to types of artwork media
- Offer professional advice on risks of artwork condition and solutions for long term preservation
- Occasional graphic design and layout concept work
- Manage installation arrangements between customers and installers
- Approachable to customers and comfortable working in a fast-paced retail design environment
Requirements:
- Higher Secondary/Pre-U/'A' Level, Professional Certificate/NiTEC, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma
- At least 1 year of experience in Graphic Design
- Executives specializing in Publishing/Printing or equivalent are welcomed
- Proficient in Mac OS, Adobe Photoshop, CS Illustrator and Microsoft Excel
- Fluent in English & Mandarin
- Self-motivated, creative and ability to deal with customers in a retail design setting
- Attention to details and meticulous in handling delicate artwork
- Customer centric, strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Willing to learn
- 5.5 days work week
- (Monday - Fridays : 1020am - 630pm, Saturdays : 1020am - 4pm)
Art Framing experience is preferred though not necessary if you have the right attitude, skills and work ethics. You must be detail orientated, work well with other team members and have excellent communication skills. An art background and knowledge of materials is helpful.
