Job Requirements:

\xc2\xb7 Work Location: Asia Paci\xef\xac\x81c (Based in GreaterChina)

\xc2\xb7 Department: HQ

\xc2\xb7 Reports to Chief Executive O\xef\xac\x83cer (CEO) and Chief Design Director (CDD)

\xc2\xb7 Travel Frequency: High

\xc2\xb7 Bachelor\'s degree or above, major in Interior architectural or related.

\xc2\xb7 12 years and above of working experience in interior design and construction industry

\xc2\xb7 8 years and above of management experience.

\xc2\xb7 Possess leadership

Strive to achieve excellence in all areas of business.

Lead and e\xef\xac\x80ectively manages the implementation of new ideas.

\xc2\xb7 Teamwork

Reinforces teamwork spirit and synergy throughout both client projects and internal initiatives. Supports and solicits input from team members.

\xc2\xb7 Communication

Ensures standard policies and procedures are well informed within the company. E\xef\xac\x80ectively communicates relevant project information to superiors and Design Teams. Communicate di\xef\xac\x83cult/sensitive information tactfully.

A good mastery of English in listening, speaking, reading, and writing.

Summary:

\xc2\xb7 Design Director (HQ) is responsible for the management of MULTIPLE projects from Design Consultancy and Design & Build projects at a strategic level.

\xc2\xb7 Finalizing with CDD on all design milestones and project status.

\xc2\xb7 Assist CDD in Teams\' management and operation cost.

\xc2\xb7 To manage and achieve team\'s revenue target set by HQ yearly.

\xc2\xb7 Provide close collaborations with project teams on construction projects (when necessary)

\xc2\xb7 Give clear design instructions to design team members.

\xc2\xb7 Lead Design presentation to Clients.

\xc2\xb7 Good Client management to maintain smooth transition of project.

Major Responsibilities:

\xc2\xb7 To work with CDD and HR in building In\xef\xac\x81nity Design Teams for by selecting, hiring, developing, and inspiring team members.

\xc2\xb7 Understand the company culture and strategic direction, exert the value of expanding customers, and contribute to enhancing the company\'s design brand in South China.

\xc2\xb7 To work/collaborate with Chief Creative Director in developing strategic design plans with projected timelines

and budgets.

\xc2\xb7 Provide design guidance to designers.

\xc2\xb7 To Lead brainstorming session with team to provide design solution for projects.

\xc2\xb7 Create and develop design concept storyboards in PPT for project presentations.

\xc2\xb7 Present ideas and creative visions to the client.

\xc2\xb7 Provide clear direction and project outline to the design team.

\xc2\xb7 Meeting and communication with clients to understand requirements and interpret through design process.

\xc2\xb7 Overseeing the design and D&B projects, from start to \xef\xac\x81nish, and guiding/supervising the team to ensure they adhere to the budget and timeline constraints.

\xc2\xb7 Reviewing feedback from clients and making alterations according to the clients\' needs.

\xc2\xb7 Analyzing market trend to create more e\xef\xac\x80ective design solutions.

\xc2\xb7 Has authority within the limits of the established budget and company operating policies, to manage and direct assigned project resources and make decisions regarding the project direction.

\xc2\xb7 Establishes appropriate resources and make proper assignments to ensure design tasks are properly managed

and sta\xef\xac\x80ed.

\xc2\xb7 Assign tasks that give team members opportunity to grow.

\xc2\xb7 Keep track of lessons learned and create a positive atmosphere for Designers to share experience and lessons with each other voluntarily.

\xc2\xb7 Participate in the design, engineering, budgeting, procurement management, template, and process.

\xc2\xb7 Play a lead role in monitoring the identi\xef\xac\x81cation and development of strategic accounts.

\xc2\xb7 Carry out inspection and supervision on design, budgeting, and project execution.

\xc2\xb7 Grow long-term relationships with clients and capitalizes on partnership opportunities.

\xc2\xb7 Lead a bidding team to e\xef\xac\x80ectively respond to a project bidding, perform professionally in bidding presentation and strive to win projects.
