Roles & Responsibilities

• To design software for new or upgrading lift(s) under Public Housing and Commercial sector with reference to the approved layout, production request, machine application, client specification and electrical diagram and that the design is economical and meets the client specifications and work schedule.
• To interpret and check the electrical diagram drawing issued by the Hardware design team and highlight ambiguity or error in the electrical diagram if any.
• To issue notice, instructions, software documents and contract related documents as and when required.
• To assist with Production Conformity team members during software testing and resolve any technical issues faced during the testing phrase.
• To assist in troubleshooting and formulate corrective and preventive measures during software testing
• To work with Electrical team for any mismatch of Software and Hardware design and rectify the problem before the lift is send to the installation jobsite.
• To be involve during lift installation at the jobsite and resolve any software issue faced during the point of installation. To modify software at jobsite if needed to comply with client requirement.

Job Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in Electrical / Electronics / Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
• At least 2 years of working experience dealing with Electrical diagrams. Those that possesses Software Design experience will have added advantage
• Good command of spoken and written English
• Able to work in a team and yet independently
