Job Description

1. Assist Customer in providing design solutions for Oil and Gas Retrievable bridge plugs and its Accessories in the following activity within the framework of product LIFECYCLE.


a. Concept Design, Detail Design, Analysis of components, Selection of materials, Stack up analysis, Raw material selection


b. DFM, DFA, FMEA, Test layout, Check layout


c. Assembly procedure, Test procedure, Value analysis and Value engineering


2. Compliance product per API (American petroleum institute) specifications


3. Participate in R&D efforts to develop new tool designs and drive improvements in existing product lines


4. Prepare drawing, Bill of material, Engineering change notice activity


5. Support the client in production / industrial engineering activities throughout the product realization activity


6. Study the Concept design, development and production support of "tooling equipment" like Jigs and fixtures by employing 'Computer Aided Design' (CAD), for all components.


7. Studying the Project requirements, Understand the Feasibility evaluation and testing of the tooling equipment


8. Prepare "3D CAD models" for the components in confirmation with the client's standard operating procedures and practices for each production process.


9. Coordination of ECO (Engineering Change Orders) activity as per manufacturing customer's standards and procedures using SAP tools.


10. Understanding and Familiarization of the customer's product and process requirements and training the delivery support team accordingly.

REQUIREMENTS TO PERFORM THE JOB DUTIES

a) Master of Engineering / Bachelor of Engineering / Technology (B.E. / B. Tech: equivalent to BS/ Diploma) in Mechanical Engineering.


b) Knowledge of SolidWorks.


c) Experience in SAP, Brava, Auto program, M S Office


d) Desire for continuous education and training effort.


e) Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to interact with all levels within engineering organization.
