Senior Design Engineer

:

Read and interpret project drawings, specifications, and design requirements, ensuring adherence to relevant codes and standards Reports directly to Senior Design Manager (SDM) Assist SDM in handling all C&S aspects of the project Coordinate the preparation of design documentation including drawings, reports, and calculations, to consultants, clients, and any other parties Liaise with consultants, contractors, and project team to assist in the resolution of design issues Maintain a register of design documentation, including tracking of submission status Collaborate with other project team members, including engineers, architects, coordinators, to ensure the integration of C&S design elements Prepare structural, geotechnical and civil engineering calculations, technical drawings, and reports Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress and its adherence to the design specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements Monitor progress of C&S works Provide technical guidance and share best practices to resolve any C&S issues that may arise Assist SDM in preparing and reviewing method statements, risk assessments, and construction plans and sequence Review and assess shop drawings, materials, and work methods to ensure alignment with approved plans and sequence. Liaise with consultants, contractors, and project team to assist in the resolution of design issues Preparation of all necessary documents for approvals and permits to for submission for any C&S works Manage and follow up on any NCRs related to C&S activities Assist in preparing progress reports, structural geotechnical and civil design updates, and documentation for submission to the SDM. Support the SDM in conducting design reviews and implementing design changes Reviewing of as-built drawings Participate in project meetings to provide updates on C&S matters Ensure that task deadlines are met while maintaining the quality and accuracy of design and drawings.

Job Requirement:

Possess a Degree in Engineering (Civil) Experience in handling LTA Infrastructure design works At least 5 years of design experience in the related field is required Good knowledge of the various engineering design software such as AutoCAD, BIM * LTA - MRT experience
