Job Description

Scope of Work

Design new mechanical features and improvements for automation robot products.


Redesign robot subunits to enhance performance, improve manufacturability, and reduce costs through DFM/DFA principles.


Prepare and release detailed part drawings and assembly drawings.


Plan and execute design validation and proof-of-concept tests, including structural, thermal, and motion performance evaluations.


Collaborate closely with electrical and software engineers to ensure seamless integration before finalizing designs.


Release Engineering Change Orders (ECO) for new or revised designs and coordinate implementation with relevant departments.


Manage product BOM and engineering documentation.


Assist in pre-sales activities by preparing technical documentation and addressing technical inquiries.


Support prototype development and automation projects as required.


Work with manufacturing teams to ensure seamless transition of designs from prototype to mass production.


Provide technical support for product implementation, troubleshooting, and user training as needed.

Job Requirements:

Diploma / Degree in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering, or related field.


Fresh Graduated or experience in designing complex mechanical assemblies, including BOM management and documentation.


Proficiency in SolidWorks, including simulations, FEA analysis, and engineering calculations is an advantage.


Hands-on experience with mechanical assembly, precision alignment, and fine-tuning of components.


Familiarity with the machine tools industry and 6-axis robot programming is an advantage.


Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across disciplines.


Team player, self-driven, meticulous, and result-oriented.
