Develop detailed design concepts for gondola and suspended access systems, including structural analysis, load assessments, suspension mechanisms, and integrated safety features.
Evaluate project specifications and site conditions to determine optimal system configurations.
Specify suitable materials and components that meet performance, durability, and safety requirements.
Compliance and Safety
Ensure all designs comply with applicable safety codes, standards, and industry regulations.
Support site teams by providing guidance and training on safe operation and handling of gondola systems.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering, with a minimum of 2 years' experience in design-related work.
Experience in construction product design is highly desirable.
Working knowledge of electrical design will be an added advantage.
Strong grasp of structural engineering principles, load calculations, and analysis methods.
Proficiency in design and simulation software for suspension or structural systems.
Familiarity with construction safety standards related to suspended platforms.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills for effective collaboration with project and construction teams.
